How do I enable the remote start feature on my BMW X7?

I just purchased a BMW X7 and I was wondering how to activate the remote start feature on the key fob? Can anyone provide step by step instructions?

To enable the remote start feature on your BMW X7, simply press and hold the lock button on your key fob for three seconds. Then, press and hold the start button for another three seconds. The car will start and the climate controls will automatically adjust to your previous settings.
