Are carbon ceramic brakes worth the extra cost in a BMW M5?

I'm debating between getting the standard steel brakes or opting for the more expensive carbon ceramic brakes for my BMW M5. Is the performance difference worth the added cost?

In my experience, carbon ceramic brakes offer better braking performance,such as shorter stopping distances and less fade, especially during aggressive driving.

While carbon ceramic brakes do offer improved performance, they also come with higher maintenance costs. It may be more cost-effective to stick with the standard steel brakes if you are not planning to track your BMW M5.

I personally opted for the carbon ceramic brakes in my BMW M5 and have been extremely satisfied with the performance. However, if you are looking to save money, the standard steel brakes are still a great option.
