Can the BMW M5 be manually shifted?

I've heard about the automatic shifting of the BMW M5, but I'm wondering if it can also be manually shifted. Is this an option?

Yes, the BMW M5 has a manual shift mode where the driver can manually shift gears.

You can also use the paddle shifters on the steering wheel to manually shift the M5.
