I have a BMW 3 series and I noticed that I am spending a lot on gas. Is there any way to improve my car's fuel economy?

You can try shifting to a higher gear before reaching 2,500 RPM. This will decrease your fuel consumption and improve your fuel economy. Also, make sure to keep your tires properly inflated; underinflated tires can cause your car to use more fuel. Lastly, check your air filter regularly and replace it if it's dirty, as a dirty air filter can decrease fuel economy.

Another tip is to avoid idling. If you know you're going to be parked for more than 30 seconds, turn off your engine. Idling burns more fuel than restarting your car.
