To reset the tire pressure monitoring system in your BMW X1, start by making sure all tires are properly inflated. Then, locate the TPMS reset button in the glove compartment and press and hold it until the TPMS indicator on the dashboard begins to flash. Release the button and wait for the indicator to stop flashing. Your TPMS should now be reset and functioning properly.

Another option to reset the tire pressure monitoring system in your BMW X1 is to use the iDrive system. From the main menu, go to 'My Vehicle', then 'Vehicle Status', and then select 'Tire Pressure Monitor'. From here, you can select 'Set' to reset the system. Make sure all tires are properly inflated before doing this.

If your tire pressure monitoring system continues to have issues after being reset, it may be a sign of a larger problem. It's best to take your BMW X1 to a certified mechanic for a thorough inspection and proper diagnosis. Ignoring TPMS warnings can lead to unsafe driving conditions.
