I recently noticed that my headlights on my BMW X3 are not pointing in the right direction. How can I adjust them to make sure they are properly aligned?
ReplyFirstly, park your car on a flat and level surface, facing a wall or garage door approximately 20 feet away. Then, locate the headlight adjustment knobs, which are usually located near the back of the headlight assembly. Use a Phillips head screwdriver to turn the knobs in the appropriate direction to adjust the vertical and horizontal alignment of the headlights.
Alternatively, you can also use a level to ensure that your headlights are pointing in the right direction. Simply place the level on top of the headlight lens and adjust the headlights until the bubble is centered.
