How do I change my BMW Z4's oil?

I recently bought a used BMW Z4 and I want to make sure I properly maintain it. How often should I change the oil and what type of oil should I use? And is there anything else I need to know about changing the oil in my Z4?

You should change your Z4's oil every 7,500 miles or every year, whichever comes first. As for the type of oil, BMW recommends using synthetic oil with a viscosity of 5W-30 or 5W-40 for optimal performance. However, if you live in a warmer climate, you can also use 10W-60 oil for better protection against heat and wear.
