ReplyFirst, make sure to purchase the correct headlight bulb for your BMW 6 Series. Then, turn off the car and let the engine cool down. Open the hood and locate the back of the headlight assembly. Remove the protective cover by turning it counterclockwise. You should now see the headlight bulb. Carefully remove it by twisting it counterclockwise and pulling out. Make sure not to touch the new bulb with your bare hands, use gloves or a cloth. Insert the new bulb by twisting it clockwise, then place the protective cover back on and turn it clockwise to secure it. Test the headlights before closing the hood.
