ReplyHi Sophia, changing the headlights on your BMW 2 Series is a fairly simple process once you know what to do. First, you'll need to locate the back of the headlight assembly which should be accessible under the hood. The bulb will be connected to a wire harness that needs to be disconnected by pressing on the tabs and pulling it away.
Once you've disconnected the wire harness, you can now remove the old bulb by turning it counterclockwise. Be careful not to touch the new bulb with your bare hands as the oil from your fingers can cause damage when the bulb gets hot. Use a clean rag or gloves to handle the new bulb and reinsert it into the headlight assembly by turning it clockwise.
