How do I change the oil in my BMW X1?

I have a BMW X1 and I am not sure how to change the oil. Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions on how to do it?

First, make sure your car is on a level surface and the engine is cool. Locate the oil drain plug underneath the car and place an oil catch pan underneath. Remove the plug and let the old oil drain out completely. Then, replace the oil drain plug and use a funnel to pour in the recommended amount of new oil. Check the oil level with the dipstick and add more if necessary. Don't forget to also change the oil filter.
