How do I change the oil on my BMW X2?

I recently purchased a BMW X2 and want to know how I can change the oil on my own. What steps should I take and what tools do I need?

First, gather all necessary tools such as a socket wrench, oil filter wrench, and a new oil filter. Then, make sure to park your car on a level surface and let it cool down for a few hours. Locate the oil drain plug under the engine and place a drain pan underneath. Remove the plug and let the oil drain completely. Once drained, replace the plug and remove the old oil filter. Install the new filter and fill the engine with the recommended oil type and quantity. Finally, start the engine and check for any leaks.
