How do I check the oil level in a BMW 6 Series?

I recently purchased a BMW 6 Series and I'm not sure how to check the oil level. Can someone guide me through the process?

First, make sure the engine is off and the car is on a level surface. Locate the dipstick, which is typically a yellow ring or handle near the engine. Pull the dipstick out and wipe it clean with a rag. Then reinsert the dipstick and pull it out again to check the oil level. It should be between the minimum and maximum marks. If it's below the minimum, you'll need to add more oil.

Another way to check the oil level is through the BMW's onboard computer. Go to the vehicle settings and scroll to the vehicle status option. From there, you can find the engine oil level and see if it needs to be topped off.
