First, locate the sticker on the inside of the driver's side door frame that lists the recommended tire pressure for your BMW 3 Series. Then, use a tire pressure gauge to check the pressure of each tire. It's important to do this when the tires are cold, as driving can increase the pressure. Simply unscrew the cap on the tire valve stem, press the tire pressure gauge onto the valve, and read the pressure indicator. If the pressure is above or below the recommended level, you can use an air compressor to adjust it.
