I have had my BMW iX for a few years now and I haven't had any issues with the battery. One thing I do is try to keep the charging cycles consistent. I typically charge my car to around 80% and then let it get down to around 20% before charging again. This helps reduce the strain on the battery and I have noticed it has helped preserve the battery life.
I am by no means an expert, but one thing I have done is invested in a level 2 charger for my BMW iX.
