I recently got my BMW 2 Series and I'm not sure how to perform an oil change. Can anyone provide me with a step-by-step guide?
ReplyYou can start by gathering the necessary tools such as a jack, oil drain pan, and new oil filter. Make sure your car is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool. Then, locate the oil drain plug under your car and slowly unscrew it, allowing the old oil to drain out. Once the oil has fully drained, replace the drain plug and remove the old oil filter. Install the new oil filter and then pour in the new oil. Be sure to check the owner's manual for the correct type and amount of oil to use. Finally, start your car and let it run for a few minutes to circulate the new oil. You can then check the oil level and top it off if necessary.
