How do I properly rev-match in a BMW M2?

I recently purchased a brand new BMW M2 and I'm having trouble with rev-matching. Whenever I downshift, the car jerks and it's not a smooth transition. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it?

Hi Samantha, rev-matching requires practice and finesse. Firstly, make sure you're using the correct gear for the speed you're going. Secondly, try to anticipate the downshifts and smoothly release the clutch while blipping the throttle to match the engine speed. It takes some time to get the hang of it, but keep practicing and you'll eventually get it right.
