My BMW X1's TPMS warning light keeps coming on, even after I check the tire pressure. How can I reset the TPMS and make sure it stays off?
ReplyTo reset your BMW X1's TPMS, start by checking the tire pressure for all four tires and making sure they are inflated to the recommended levels. Then, press and hold the TPMS button located on the dashboard until the TPMS warning light blinks three times. Your TPMS should now be reset.
Another way to reset your BMW X1's TPMS is by using the iDrive menu. Go to Settings, then Vehicle/Tires, and select TPMS Reset. Follow the instructions on the screen and your TPMS should be reset.
If the TPMS light continues to come on, there may be an issue with one of your tire sensors. Check with your local BMW dealership for further assistance.
