How do I reset my BMW XM's oil change indicator?

I recently changed the oil on my BMW XM, but the oil change indicator is still showing up on my dashboard. How do I reset it?

To reset your oil change indicator on your BMW XM, follow these steps:

1. Turn the ignition to the ON position, without starting the engine.

2. Press and hold the odometer reset button until the indicator light on the dashboard changes from 'RESET' to 'END SIA'.
