How do I reset the BMW X7 infotainment system?

I have a BMW X7 and the infotainment system seems to be frozen. How do I reset it without affecting any other settings?

To reset the infotainment system in your BMW X7, press and hold the iDrive controller for 20 seconds. This will force a reboot without erasing any settings.

Alternatively, you can also remove the fuse for the infotainment system for 30 seconds and then reinstall it to reset the system.
