I recently had my oil changed in my BMW 1 Series and since then, the check engine light has been on. How do I reset it without going to the dealership?

Usually, the check engine light will reset itself after a few driving cycles if the issue has been resolved. However, you can try disconnecting the negative battery terminal for a few minutes and then reconnecting it. Just make sure to have your radio code handy.
