How do I reset the media system on my BMW X1?

I recently bought a used BMW X1 and the media system seems to be frozen. The screen is stuck on the same radio station and I can't change it or access any other features. How can I reset the media system on my BMW X1?

First, try pressing and holding the power button on the media system for 10 seconds to force a reboot. If that doesn't work, you can also try disconnecting the car battery for a few minutes and then reconnecting it.
