To reset the oil change indicator on a BMW X3, follow these steps: 1) Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to position 2 (Ignition on / Engine off). 2) Press the odometer reset button and hold it for about 5 seconds until the service interval indicator appears. 3) Release the button and press it again until the Reset message appears. 4) Release and press it again until you see the new service interval displayed. 5) Press the button one last time to confirm the reset.
