How do I reset the oil level on my BMW X5?

Sometimes my BMW X5 shows that my oil level is low even though I just got an oil change. How can I reset the oil level on my car?

To reset the oil level on your BMW X5, first start the engine and let it run for a minute. Then, press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the odometer display shows 'reset'. Release the button and press it again until 'oil service reset' appears. Release the button and press it again until 'OK' appears. Your oil level should now be reset.

I had the same issue with my BMW X5. After getting an oil change, the oil level would show as low. I found that if I drive the car for a little bit, the oil level will reset itself. Try driving your BMW for a few minutes and see if the oil level changes.
