How do I reset the oil light on my BMW 2 Series?

I recently changed the oil in my BMW 2 Series but the oil light is still on. How can I reset it?

To reset the oil light, follow these steps: 1. Insert the key in the ignition and turn it to the first position, but do not start the engine. 2. Press the OBC (on-board computer) button on the turn signal stalk repeatedly until you see the oil service icon. 3. Press and hold the OBC button for 5 seconds. 4. The system will show 'Reset?' on the display, press and hold the button again until the 'Reset?' message disappears. 5. Release the button and the oil light should be reset.
