How do I reset the oil service light on my BMW 3 Series?

I recently got an oil change for my BMW 3 Series, but the oil service light is still on. How do I reset it?

First, start your engine and make sure the display shows the odometer. Then, press the odometer reset button and hold it for 5 seconds until the first service job appears. Release the button, then press and hold it again until the words 'Reset?' appear. Finally, release the button once more and press and hold it again until the words 'Resetting' appear and the service light should be reset.

If you don't feel comfortable resetting the light yourself, it's always best to bring your car to a certified BMW mechanic. They will have the expertise and tools needed to properly reset the oil service light.
