To reset the oil service light on your BMW X6, first turn the ignition to the ON position but do not start the engine. Then, press and hold the odometer reset button for about 5 seconds until the display shows the new interval. Release the button and then press and hold it again until the display shows 'RESET'. Your oil service light should now be reset.
