I recently got an oil change on my BMW X4, but the service reminder is still on. How do I reset it?
ReplyTo reset the oil service on your BMW X4, follow these steps:
1. Turn on your car's ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the trip odometer button until you see the service reminder on the dashboard.
3. Press and hold the BC button on the turn signal stalk until you see 'RESET' on the display.
4. Release both buttons, and then press and hold the BC button again until 'RESETTING' appears.
5. Release the button and wait for the service reminder to disappear.
If the service reminder does not reset, you may need to take your car to a BMW dealership for a diagnostic check.
