To reset the onboard computer on your BMW 1 Series, you will need to follow these steps: 1. Turn on the vehicle's ignition and make sure the display is showing the main menu. 2. Press and hold the 'BC' button on the end of the stalk on the left side of the steering wheel. 3. After approximately 10 seconds, the message 'Reset' should appear on your display. 4. Use the arrow buttons on the stalk to select 'Reset' and press down on the stalk to confirm. 5. Your onboard computer should now be reset and displaying accurate information.

If you have tried the above methods and the onboard computer is still not displaying accurate information, it may be a sign of a larger issue. It is recommended to bring your BMW 1 Series to a certified technician for further diagnosis and repair.
