How do I reset the sensors in my BMW i8?

I recently replaced my car's tires and now the sensor keeps showing low pressure. How can I reset the sensors to accurately display the tire pressure?

Hi Max, to reset the sensors in your BMW i8, you will need to use the iDrive system. Go to the Vehicle Settings menu, then select Tire Pressure Monitor, and choose Recalibrate Sensors. Make sure your car is in a stationary position and follow the prompts on the screen. If this does not resolve the issue, you may need to visit a BMW dealership for further assistance.

Hey Max, have you tried driving your car at a steady speed for about 10 minutes? Sometimes this can reset the sensors automatically. If not, try manually recalibrating the sensors through the iDrive system. If the issue persists, it could be a faulty sensor and you should bring it to a BMW mechanic for inspection.

Hi Max, I had a similar issue with my i8 and found that resetting the sensors using the iDrive system worked for me. Just make sure to follow the instructions carefully and drive at a consistent speed afterwards to recalibrate the sensors. If the problem continues, it could be a faulty sensor and you may need to get it replaced.
