How do I reset the service indicator in my BMW 5 Series?

I have a BMW 5 Series and I recently had the oil changed at a local shop. However, the service indicator still shows that I need to change the oil. How do I reset it so that it shows the correct mileage?

To reset the service indicator in your BMW 5 Series, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the ignition without starting the engine. 2. Press the 'BC' button on the end of the turn signal lever until you see 'SERVICE INFO'. 3. Press and hold the 'BC' button for 5 seconds until you see 'RESET'. 4. Let go of the button and then rotate the turn signal lever to the left until you see 'REGULAR SERVIC'. 5. Press and hold the 'BC' button again for 5 seconds until the service indicator is reset.
