How do I reset the service interval on my BMW 3 Series?

I recently purchased a used BMW 3 Series and the 'service due' message keeps popping up. How can I reset the service interval myself instead of taking it to a mechanic?

You can reset the service interval on your BMW 3 Series by following these steps:
1. Turn on the ignition, but do not start the engine.
2. Press and hold the 'Trip' button on the dashboard until the service menu appears.
3. Use the stalk to scroll through the menu until you find the 'reset' option.
4. Press and hold the 'reset' button until the 'service due' message disappears.
5. Turn off the ignition and restart the car to confirm the reset was successful.
Hope this helps!
