How do I reset the service light on my BMW 3 Series?

I recently got my BMW 3 Series serviced, and now the service light won't turn off. How can I reset it without having to take it back to the dealership?

To reset the service light on your BMW 3 Series, first turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Then, press and hold the odometer reset button until the indicator on the dashboard lights up. Once it lights up, release the button and press it again until the word 'reset' appears. Finally, release the button and the service light should be reset.
