I recently had my BMW 5 Series serviced, but the service reminder light is still on. How can I reset it?
ReplyTo reset the service reminder, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Press and hold the odometer reset button until the service reminder light flashes. Release the button and press it again until the reset confirmation appears on the display.
You can also reset the service reminder using the iDrive system. Go to the Service menu, select the appropriate service item, and then select Reset.
If neither of these methods work, you may need to consult your owner's manual or take your BMW to a certified mechanic for assistance.
