How do I reset the tire pressure monitor on a BMW 2 Series?

I recently changed my tires and now the tire pressure monitor on my BMW 2 Series is not accurate. How can I reset it?

First, make sure all tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure. Then, turn on the ignition without starting the engine. Hold the TPMS reset button until the TPMS warning light blinks three times, indicating that the system has been reset.

Another way to reset the TPMS is to drive the car for at least 10 minutes at a speed of 20mph or more. This should recalibrate the sensors and reset the system.
