How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system in a BMW 6 Series?

I recently replaced my tires and the tire pressure warning light won't turn off. Is there a way to reset the system?

To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, start by making sure all four tires are properly inflated to the recommended pressure. Then, turn on the ignition without starting the car and hold the TPMS reset button for about five seconds until the reset indicator appears. Release the button and start the car.

Another method is to drive the car at a speed of at least 50 mph for 10 minutes or more to allow the system to recalibrate itself. If the warning light still does not turn off, you may need to have a professional mechanic check for any underlying issues.
