How do I reset the tire pressure monitoring system on a BMW X5?

I recently got a tire pressure warning on my dashboard and I'm not sure how to reset it. Can anyone provide step-by-step instructions?

To reset the tire pressure monitoring system, start by making sure all tires are properly inflated. Then, turn on the ignition but do not start the engine. Scroll to the tire pressure monitor using the button on the turn signal stalk. Press and hold the button until an exclamation mark appears, indicating the system is initialized. Your TPMS should now be reset.

One thing to keep in mind is that the TPMS may not reset if you have a damaged tire or a sensor that needs to be replaced. In that case, it's best to bring your BMW X5 to a certified mechanic or dealership for a diagnostic test.
