My TPMS warning light is on and I'm not sure how to reset it. Can you help?
ReplyFirst, check all of your tire pressures and make sure they are at the recommended levels. Then, turn the ignition on, but do not start the car. Press and hold the TPMS Reset button until the TPMS warning light turns off. This should reset the system and the light should remain off. If the light continues to turn on, there may be an issue with your TPMS sensors and it's best to have a professional inspect them.
In addition to checking your tire pressures, also make sure there are no objects or damage to your tires that could be triggering the TPMS warning light. If everything looks okay, try driving the car for a few minutes to see if the light turns off. If it doesn't, you may need to have your TPMS system recalibrated by a mechanic.
