How do I troubleshoot the engine overheating issue in my BMW 1 Series?

I recently noticed that my BMW 1 Series is overheating, even though I have been properly maintaining it. What could be the cause of this issue and how can I fix it?

Firstly, check the coolant level and make sure it is at the recommended level. If it's low, top up with a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. Next, check for any leaks in the coolant system and have them repaired if necessary. If there are no leaks, it could be an issue with the thermostat or the water pump. It is recommended to take your car to a certified mechanic for further diagnosis and repair.

Another possible cause of overheating could be a clogged radiator. You can try flushing the radiator with a radiator flush solution and then refilling it with fresh coolant. If this doesn't solve the issue, it may be due to a malfunctioning radiator fan. Again, it is best to seek professional help for this issue.
