How do I turn off the auto start-stop function in my BMW X3?

I recently purchased a BMW X3 and I find the auto start-stop function to be quite annoying. Is there a way to permanently disable this feature so it doesn't turn off every time I come to a stop? I don't want to have to manually turn it off every time I start my car.

Unfortunately, there is no way to permanently disable the auto start-stop function in a BMW X3. However, you can easily turn it off temporarily by pressing the auto start-stop button on the center console. Keep in mind that this feature is designed to help save gas and reduce emissions, so it may be beneficial to leave it on for shorter trips.
