How do I turn off the automatic headlights on my BMW X1?

I recently purchased a BMW X1 and I noticed that the headlights turn on automatically when it gets dark outside. Is there a way to turn off this feature?

Yes, you can turn off the automatic headlights by going into the settings menu in your iDrive system. From there, select the lighting options and you should see an option to turn off the automatic headlights.
