How do I turn off the automatic start/stop function in a BMW X4?

I find the start/stop function annoying and would like to turn it off permanently in my BMW X4. Is there a way to disable it?

To turn off the automatic start/stop function in your BMW X4, simply press and hold the start/stop button for 3 seconds. This will disable the function until the next time you start your car. Alternatively, you can also access the start/stop menu in your vehicle's settings and disable it from there.
