How Do You Troubleshoot a Broken Window Motor?

One of the power windows on my BMW has stopped working. I suspect that the window motor may be the problem. How can I troubleshoot this issue and fix my window?

First, check the fuse for the power windows. If it's blown, replace it and test the window again. If the fuse is intact, then the issue may be with the window motor itself.
