How often should I change the spark plugs in my BMW 3 Series?

I recently purchased a 2015 BMW 3 Series and I'm not sure when I should change the spark plugs. Can you provide some advice on when I should change them and what type of spark plugs I should use?

According to BMW, spark plugs should be replaced every 60,000 miles or 6 years, whichever comes first. However, if you notice your engine misfiring or a decrease in fuel efficiency, it might be time for a change regardless of mileage.
