How often should I service the brakes on a BMW 8 Series?

I just bought a BMW 8 Series and I'm wondering how often I should service the brakes. I've heard different recommendations and I want to make sure I'm taking good care of my car. Can you give me some advice on this?

It is generally recommended to service the brakes on a BMW 8 Series every 30,000 miles or two years, whichever comes first.
