I have a BMW 4 Series and one of my headlight bulbs burned out. I want to replace it myself but I'm not sure how to access the headlight housing. Can someone guide me through the steps and give me some tips? Thank you.
ReplyHi Anna, changing the headlight bulb on a BMW 4 Series is actually quite easy. First, open the hood of your car and locate the back of the headlight assembly. You'll see a rubber cover that you can remove by twisting it counterclockwise. Once the cover is off, you'll have access to the back of the headlight bulb. Twist and release the connector from the bulb, then remove the old bulb and insert the new one. Before putting everything back together, make sure to test the new bulb to make sure it's working. Hope this helps!
Hi Anna, it's important to use gloves when handling the new bulb as the oils from your hands can damage it. Also, make sure the new bulb is properly aligned before inserting it into the housing. And don't forget to tighten the connector back onto the bulb to ensure it stays in place. Let me know if you have any trouble.
