To check the oil level in your BMW 2 Series, first make sure the engine is cool. Then, locate the oil dipstick and remove it from the engine. Wipe it clean with a cloth and reinsert it back into the engine. Then, remove it again and check the oil level on the dipstick. The oil level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the dipstick. If it is below the minimum mark, add more oil. If it is above the maximum mark, it is recommended to drain some oil out to prevent overfilling.

Another important factor to keep in mind is the type of oil you use in your BMW 2 Series. It is recommended to use the specific type of oil that is recommended by BMW for your specific model. This will ensure optimal performance and longevity of your engine.
