How to disable automatic start/stop function in BMW 2 Series?

I find the automatic start/stop function in my BMW 2 Series to be annoying and unnecessary. Is there a way to disable it permanently?

Unfortunately, there is no button or setting to disable this function permanently. However, you can press the button with 'A' symbol on it to temporarily turn off the start/stop function while driving.
