How to disable lane departure warning on a BMW X3?

I recently purchased a BMW X3 and I find the lane departure warning feature to be quite annoying. Is there a way to permanently disable it?

To disable the lane departure warning on your BMW X3, go to the iDrive menu and select 'Vehicle Settings'. From there, navigate to 'Driver Assistance' and then to 'Lane Departure Warning'. You can then toggle the feature off.

I had the same issue with my BMW X3 and found that turning off the lane departure warning in the iDrive menu worked for me. However, if you want to keep the feature on but adjust the sensitivity, you can do so in the same 'Lane Departure Warning' menu.
