I find the automatic start/stop function in my BMW 7 Series to be quite annoying. Is there a way to disable it permanently?

Yes, there is a way to disable the automatic start/stop function in your BMW 7 Series. You can do this by accessing the iDrive menu and going to 'Settings' > 'Driving Mode' > 'Start/Stop function' and then selecting 'Off'. This will disable the function for all future drives.

You can also temporarily disable the automatic start/stop function by pressing the button on the center console near the gear selector. This will deactivate the function for the current drive only.

I would also recommend getting a Start/Stop button deactivation coding done. This will completely disable the function and you won't have to worry about it anymore.
