Every time I drive over a bump or turn a corner, there's a persistent squeaking sound coming from my BMW X4. It's driving me crazy, and I can't figure out how to fix it. Does anyone have any suggestions?
ReplyHi Emily, I had this same issue with my BMW X4. The squeaking sound is most likely coming from the suspension components, specifically the bushings. I would recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic or dealership and having them inspect the suspension for any worn or damaged bushings. They can easily be replaced and should solve the squeaking issue. Hope this helps!
Hey Emily, I had a similar issue with my BMW X4 and it turned out to be the front brake pads. The squeaking sound was caused by the brake pad wear indicator rubbing against the rotor. You may want to check your brake pads to see if they need to be replaced. If so, make sure to get OEM pads as they tend to last longer and perform better. Best of luck!
